TERMS AND CONDITIONS @LUCIDCOLOUR

SUPPLY OF PIGMENTS & COLOUR PRODUCTS 
Pigments, Colourants, and Coloured Special Effects are chemicals. All customers purchasing Pigments, Colourants, and Coloured Special Effects from  Lucid Colour will be responsible for the safe use and storage for those chemicals. By purchasing any product from Lucid Colour on this website without any email(s) of enquiry to Lucid Colour about the nature, use or compliance of the chemicals, the customer is responsible for that purchase and its uses, storage and all other compliance. Please refer to AICIS (NICNAS) in Australia of purchasing and the use of these chemicals. Also refer to legislation to Workplace Health and Safety (WPHS) within your state, or country regarding storage and use of these chemicals. We are fully insured, and in compliance to WPHS, we supply SDS / MSDS (safety data sheets) with all products, except for samples or amounts less than 20 grams labelled as a sample. We also have a state of the art laboratory that can provide full colour testing and chemical analysis and we can provide a 'certificate of analysis' to our contract customers or 'product information' sheets to online customers via requests on our contact page.

FREE 'Standard' Rate delivery (up to 5kg) on online orders over $160 AUD. 
FREE 'EXPRESS AIR' Rate (up to 5kg) delivery on online orders over $260 AUD.

STANDARD DELIVERY RATES (Australia + NZ) 
'Standard' Rate delivery charges at checkout are currently...  up to 1kg $10 AUD.  1kg to 5kg $16 AUD.  5kg to 20kg $50 AUD. 'FLAT RATE' or 'STANDARD' Delivery does not include or cover orders above 20kgs+ or pallet orders. 
 
EXPRESS AIR DELIVERY / SHIPPING (Australia) 
This option is available at checkout on this website. 1 to 5 product item(s) or samples under 500grams
is $9 AUD. For multiple items between 501grams up to 1kgs express delivery is $18 AUD. If you require 
express air delivery on custom or other orders send us an email regarding this request.

DELIVERY FOR ONLINE ORDERS 20+Kgs (Australia)
ROAD FREIGHT ONLY All order time frames and delivery options and costs are emailed to customers, unless a customer arranges their own transport, shipping or air delivery with a delivery company or own delivery contractor.

DELIVERY RATES OVERSEAS (All Countries)
We offer 4 options, Direct Air freight, Express Air freight, Sea freight, and delivery to your chosen local freight forwarder. Overseas delivery rates are at checkout and may change or may not be added at checkout. If so LucidColour will invoice exact shipping delivery costs  via email to a secure online payment system. If customers are unhappy with our delivery partners rates or any extra delivery charges we will cancel your order on your request and we will refund the full transaction amount within 24 hours.

ORDER PICKUPS FROM COLOUR LAB
All orders are packed ASAP and pickup is available via phone or email appointment / available time allocation. If pick up is by your selected transport company, we require an email request by you and also your transport company before orders will be release from our loading dock.

ORDER PICKUPS FROM LUCID COLOUR
Are available to our contract customers only, we are not open to the public due to time availability and public safety compliance to WPHS (Visitor induction to chemical plant operations).  Minimum pick up order sizes is half standard pallet (600x900mm or 600x1200mm) or full standard pallet sizes (typically 1200x1200mm). All contract or invoiced customers must provide their own selected transport company.

SMALL ORDERS (10 grams to 20kgs)
Are dispatched by COLOUR LAB our Australian Distributor. All orders are packed within 24 hours after purchased and are dispatched within 48 hours after full payment. Our delivery times vary due to our delivery companies own terms & conditions. If products are not delivered within the delivery companies guaranteed time frames, we can apply for a delivery fee refund for you then refund your delivery cost(s) for the delay within their own policies or guarantees. 

LARGE ORDERS (20kgs to 200+kgs)
Are dispatched directly by LUCID COLOUR the manufacturer. All order above 20kgs+ can not be insured by LUCID COLOUR (if not on a shipping pallet) so on that basis all orders above 20kgs gross customers must provide their own selected transport company for delivery. We will provide shipping

pallets, boxes and plastic wrap to have the order ready for your delivery provider to pick up.

PHONE & EMAIL ORDERS
We accept orders over the phone (the old school way) and also by email. If colour stock is on the floor we can send out next day by your or our delivery partners on orders up to 20kgs. If orders are above 20kgs and email is sent to the customer when the order is ready for pick up.

PURCHASING COLOUR STOCK (NOT ON SITE)
We have over 10,000 colours in stock. If you need an exact colour or a colour index or reference colour we will have it in stock. Please email us your specification or shade needed and we will get back to you. 

CUSTOM ORDERS & COLOUR MATCH ORDERS 
We offer custom colours and Pantone colour off our website which are undertaken via phone or email request. Colour matching to DeltaºE2.0 can take a day. Colour matches between DeltaºE1.0 to DeltaºE0.4 can take a few days to process. If your order can be made from floor stock our minimum order is just 100grams. If you need exact Colour or Pigment index number products our minimum order is between 10kgs & 20kgs per colour. Exact custom order timeframes are emailed to customers.

'OUT OF STOCK' REPLACEMENT OR REFUNDS
All customer order that can not be fully filled will receive an email. We will offer extra colours to the closest that is not available (a few extra shades and freebies) or we will offer a refund on what is not available or offer a full refund on the whole order to cancel. Partial refunds can take up to a week depending on your payment method, and all cancelled order refund are processed with in 48 hours. If you are willing to wait a few days up 3 to 5 days (in most cases) we can make your exact colour in your exact base (including any agents & additives) to your specification. 

'BACK ORDER' TIMEFRAMES
Unfortunately as the only pigment manufacturer in Australia we try to meet all our time frames for our customers on back orders and all requests. Back orders under 5kg that do not meet your time frames can be cancelled for a refund at anytime via email request to LucidColour.com/contact.

DAMAGES TO ORDERS IN TRANSIT If products are damaged, not delivered or lost in transit we can apply for a refund for you then refund your total transaction cost to our transport / shipping provider. We do not provide insurance or cover when you chose or use your own transport or delivery provider.

'NOT IN MANUFACTURE' PIGMENTS
 OR  MANUFACTURING DATE 'TBA'
At most times this is temporary as pigments and products sell out and the production of pigments can take up 15 to 30 days to produce (ordering reactants, chemical reactions, removal from reactor, removal of unreacted trace metals and contaminates, filtering and grinding, washing, press cakes and drying, filtering and washing and drying again etc...  Over time some chemicals and reactants used in the manufacture of pigments become unavailable or change to other alternatives. This can make exact pigment chemistries and formulations difficult or impossible to reproduce and sometimes pigments 'not in manufacture' will be either temporary or on rare circumstances permanently unavailable.

COLOUR ON SCREEN TO REAL LIFE COLOUR
Most pigments, colourants and colour effect absorb and transmit reflected light to your eyes. These transmissions are multiple wave lengths simply defined as "short", "medium" and "long" wavelengths within the spectrum range of approx 390nm to 700nm. Your own unique eye (cones/receptors) and brain actual determine what colour you see, and this is different for each individual person. Now adding that a computer or device screen operates on light emitting diodes (LED's) mainly using 3 exact wavelengths and no external light sources (eg the sun) your eye and brain sees little coloured lights as pixels  in RGB to trick you. Hence the screen colour is not the same as real particles and millions of reflected light waves. Please consider purchasing any colours to really appreciate them with your eyes, and if you don't trust your computer or device to colour accuracy just purchase a 10 gram sample for $3-$4 for your peace of mind or brain...

We may be stuck in the reactor room or the laboratory but we always reply to all reasonable emails... We will respond within 24 hours on any enquiries to orders from this website. For help or questions to our online or offline colour products we will respond with in 24 to 48 hours. If your enquiry is for chemical engineer / chemist / chemical work and technical advice beyond standard colour products we will respond when time permits with a short email.
