SUPPLY OF PIGMENTS & COLOUR PRODUCTS 
Pigments, Colourants, and Coloured Special Effects are chemicals. All customers purchasing Pigments, Colourants, and Coloured Special Effects from Lucid Colour or Colour Lab the customer or user is responsible for the safe use and storage and all other compliance for those products. Please refer to AICIS (NICNAS) in Australia related to purchasing and the use of these colours / chemicals. Always refer to legislation Workplace Health and Safety (WPH&S) within your state, or country regarding transport, storage and use of these chemicals. Please note that we are insured, and in compliance to WPH&S, we supply MSDS / SDS (safety data sheets) with all products as required for transport and storage, except for small samples for evaluation. Lucid Colour also has a state of the art laboratory that can provide full colour testing and chemical analysis and also can provide 'certificates of analysis' to our contract customers or 'product information sheets' to online customers via any request on our contact page.
 
ETHICS AND RESPECT FOR OUR CUSTOMERS SAFETY
You will always receive honesty and complete transparency about our products, how they are made, what they actually contain (including products like Traditional art pigments or Industrial pigments that can have small trace amount of metals or chemistries that may cause harm) or any other information our customers request. Unlike many resellers claiming to be the manufacturer, or accepting and passing on false information from their unregulated suppliers, these unprofessional, untrained, unqualified resellers do not conduct analytical testing of "their" products themselves which means they don't know what they are actually selling to you. This directly leads to unknown harm to product users and their personal health. Ebay or online pigment traders and pigment resellers are all unregulated as well, and do not understand pigments at required levels to use, sell, advise on, or distribute. We always respect our customers health and their product results well before money in first. NO ANIMALS TESTING AND OUR CARE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Lucid Colour has not ever, nor we will ever test products on animals. At Lucid Colour we use recycled metals most of the time which saves tree clearing and nasty holes dug into the earth, this is why we do not sell commercial earth pigments. Pigments should never result in tree clearing and toxic holes into the earth, toxic tailing dams and these pigments also contain asbestos which is not in the users best interest. With common sense we do not discourage artists, makers, and people to forage for materials off the surface of the earth to make pigments, or colour as pigments and colour are an important function in life for thousands of years, from historic cave paintings, to dyes for clothing and also medical scans, or even red pigments in a stop sign for safety. In our future, Lucid Colour will be moving to100% recycled metals, using ethanol made from grain or cane production, and even further concentrating colour products so that less chemicals and materials are used. We are currently committed to extracting chemicals and waste products from unused or abandoned mine sites and their tailings dams to process, purify, and clean these materials to manufacture true and honest eco colour products.

TATTOO PIGMENTS & GUIDELINES / REGULATIONS (AUSTRALIA & REST OF WORLD)
Currently we still supply tattoo pigments and colourants under the very limited 'guidelines' with in Australia on the basis that most imported products do not disclose the correct information and most have contained high levels of toxicity within these imported products into Australia. This also includes other known 'harmful to health' chemical structural changes to certain pigments when use or under the skin when using a laser tattoo removal process (eg. Di-aso bonds breaking into two new molecules when in long term direct sunlight or under short term laser removal systems). At some point in the future we expect tattoo product legislation in Australia, and will most likely change to Europe or Japan standards including banned pigment imports and banned product lists. We currently follow the tattoo pigment industry guidelines and limited other regulations regarding to pigments generally in Australia (like Lead and Heavy Metal Contents minimums or zero PPM values) We are also developing new products for the tattoo industry before new legislation or bans are undertaken to exact pigments used.

STANDARD DELIVERY COSTS & RATES (Australia + NZ) 
'Standard' Rate delivery charges at checkout are currently...  up to 1kg $10 AUD.  1kg to 5kg $16 AUD.  5kg to 20kg by quote. 'FLAT RATE' or 'STANDARD' delivery does not include or cover orders above 20kgs+ or pallet orders. Orders above 20kgs can be sent via Auspost in multiple boxes of 20kg each (Auspost weight limit) Orders above 20kgs customers can arrange own delivery company or pick up.
 
EXPRESS AIR DELIVERY COSTS & RATES (Australia) 
These options are available at checkout point on this website. 1 to 10 product item(s) or samples under 500grams is only $9 AUD. For multiple items between 500grams to 1kgs express delivery is $18 AUD. and 1kg to 5kg is $36 AUD. DELIVERY RATES OVERSEAS (All Countries Worldwide)
We offer 4 options, Standard Air freight, Express Air freight, Sea freight, or delivery to your own chosen local freight forwarder. Overseas delivery rates are at checkout and may change or may not be added at checkout. If delivery costs are not calculated, Lucid Colour will invoice exact shipping delivery costs via email to a secure online payment system. If customers are unhappy with our delivery partners rates or quotation we recommend using your own transport or delivery service. You may cancel your order if your unhappy with the delivery costs, we will cancel your order and we will refund the full transaction amount within 24 hours after your order cancellation request via email to Luke@LucidColour.com

DAMAGES TO ORDERS IN TRANSIT 
If products are damaged, not delivered or lost in transit we can apply for a refund for you via Auspost and refund your total transaction cost of your purchase here on our website. We can not provide insurance when you chose your own transport or delivery provider as it is insured by their company.

ORDER PICKUPS FROM COLOUR LAB (SOUTHPORT, GOLD COAST, QUEENSLAND)
All orders are packed ASAP and pickup is available via phone or email appointment with an available time allocation window. If pick up is by your selected transport company, we require an email request by you or your transport company before orders will be release from our under cover loading zone at

ORDER PICKUPS FROM LUCID COLOUR (SOUTH TWEED HEADS, NEW SOUTH WALES)
Order pick ups are available to our contract customers only, we are not open to the public due to public safety compliance to WPHS (Public Safety for visitors / induction to chemical plant operations).  Minimum pick up order sizes is half standard pallet (600x900mm or 600x1200mm) or full standard pallet sizes (typically 1200x1200mm and up to 800kg per Pallet). All contract or direct invoiced customers must provide their own selected transport company for pick up from our under cover loading zone by email

SMALL ORDERS (10 grams to 20kgs and up to 200kg with email notice)
Are dispatched by COLOUR LAB our Australian Distributor. All orders are packed within 24 hours after purchased and are dispatched within 48 hours after full payment. Our delivery times vary due to our delivery companies own terms & conditions. If products are not delivered within the delivery companies guaranteed time frames, we can apply for a delivery fee refund for you then refund your delivery cost(s) for the delay within their own policies or guarantees. LARGER ORDERS (200kgs to 1000+kgs)
Are dispatched directly by LUCID COLOUR the manufacturer. All order above 20kgs+ can not be insured by LUCID COLOUR if not on a shipping pallet, so on that basis all orders above 20kgs gross customers must provide their own selected transport company for delivery. We will provide shipping
pallets, boxes and plastic wrap to have the order ready for your delivery provider to pick up.

PHONE & EMAIL ORDERS
We still accept orders over the phone and also by email. If colour stock is on the floor we can send out next day by your or our delivery partners. For orders above 20kgs we will email you all delivery options.

PURCHASING OUR COLOUR STOCK (NOT ON THIS WEBSITE)
We have over 10,000 colours in stock. If you need an exact colour or a colour index or reference colour we will have it in stock. Please email us your specification or shade needed and we will get back to you. 

CUSTOM ORDERS & COLOUR MATCH ORDERS 
We offer custom colours or Pantone reference colours off our website which are undertaken via phone or email request. Colour matching to DeltaºE2.0 can usually take a one hour. Colour matches between DeltaºE1.99 to DeltaºE0.01 can take a day to process. If your order can be made from floor stock our minimum order is only 100 grams. If you need exact Colour or Pigment index number products our minimum order is between 10kgs to 20kgs per colour. Exact custom order timeframes are via email.
 
COLOUR ON SCREEN TO REAL LIFE COLOUR
Light including the vision of Colour has some very technical attributes and scientific values. To keep it simple or down to one paragraph, most pigments, colourants and colour affect absorb and transmit reflected light to your eyes. These transmissions are multiple wave lengths simply defined as "short", "medium" and "long" wavelengths within the spectrum range of approx 390nm to 700nm. Your own unique eye (cones/receptors) and brain actual determine what colour you see, and this is similar but also uniquely different for each individual person. Now adding that a computer or device screens operate on light emitting diodes (LED's) mainly using 3 exact wavelengths and no external or variable light sources (eg the sun). Your eye and brain sees little coloured lights as pixels in red, green and blue (RGB) to trick your mind (brain) and cones, receptors into a certain colour made just of 3 coloured led lights. Hence the screen colour made of RGB LED's is not the same as real materials or particles and the millions of absorbed and reflected light waves off that object, material or particles / pigment. Please consider purchasing any pigments or colours to really evaluate, colour match or evaluate with your eyes to be suitable, and if you don't trust your computer or device to colour accuracy you can just purchase a 5 to 10 gram sample for $3 to $5 for your own peace of mind or if this is needed by you.
